Piano Concert September 25th, 2013

On Wednesday, September 25 at the  Casa de la cultura Alberto Isaac of Colima will be held at the audio-visual room a piano recital, in charge of Alejandro Gutiérrez Flores and Jesús Sandoval, at 8:00pm, in the context of concert evenings organized by the Government through its Ministry of culture.

The program to be presented includes four preludes by Bach, including minuet, andante and allegretto; as well as some inventions in two voices by the same author; You also enjoy "Ragtime" of Scot Joplin; a Minuet in Sonata of Beethoven in opening 49, No.2, among others.

During this concert the Colima Alejandro Gutiérrez Flores, who studied music at the CEDART Juan Rulfo of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) from 1980 to 1984 and later at the University Institute of fine arts of Colima and the whole cultural Ollin Yoliztli in the city of Mexico, where he received classes of vocal technique, piano, harmony and composition, will participate with some parts that will be the taste of the Colima.

It is noteworthy that this pianist has participated in different forums of musical diffusion as the Yamaha Music Academy in Mexico, D.F. in 1991.

Moreover, José de Jesús Sandoval Macías, who started his musical training at age 5 in the area of keyboard in the workshops of the IMSS Social Security Center during a semester, keyboard and guitar in the unit of children's services (USI), dependent of the State DIF, also give account of their expertise on the piano in this presentation side of Gutierrez Floresresulting in a concert of classical music lovers should not miss.

Activity: Independence celebration
Info: Starting at 8:00pm the folkloric ballet will perform. We will have the indigenous dancers of Suchitlan with the traditional wooden masks perform a traditional dance. At 10:30pm the Mariachi of Tecalitlan will play until 11:30pm, then the Mayor of Comala will lead the "Grito de Independencia", followed by more Mariachi music, and at half past midnight the traditional "Castillo" fireworks display.

Info: At 8:30am the local schools will be part of our independence parade that goes through the main streets of Comala. At 4:30pm there will be a running race in the Comala surroundings. After the race there will be the traditional "Palo encebado" a pole that is covered in lard, anyone can go and try to climb it at the very top there are many prizes if you can reach them they are yours!
